This volcano is overflowing with lava (which is the cancer). On one side it is knocking down trees. On the other side, the family is holding up a big, brown board which is keeping the lave (cancer) away from the family. (Please click on picture to see a larger version.)

A Helping Hand

Walking in the woods, looking all about

You see trees.

Some are giants of the forest,

Towering above all.

They are nature’s skyscrapers

Quenching the surrounding ground of sunlight.

But then you come across the “little ones”,

Struggling to survive.

Some are bent, others frail.

You see a branch almost bigger than the weak tree.

You prop the branch against the tree

And tie it with some string.

It seems to look happier

And maybe just a bit stronger.

Then, a thought enters your head…

I may have a friend that needs help too.
